Organisation
Project Steering Committee
deegree is coordinated by a Project Steering Committee (PSC). The PSC i.e. decides about the major directions of the deegree project and the dates and content of major releases. If you want to know more about the PSC members, contact information and resporibilities of the PSC please have a look at the PSC wiki page.
Project Developers
A Project Developer has full commit access to the trunk of the Subversion system. Project Developers can directly make changes to the source base of the development branch, from which the nightly builds are made. Project Developers review and accept code submitted by Project Contributors.
Project Developers are best contacted via the deegree mailing lists.
All deegree Developers are listed at http://wald.intevation.org/project/memberlist.php?group_id=27.
Project Contributors
A Project Contributor is a developer who contributes patches, code, and/or documentation through the deegree mailing lists and the issue tracker. Project Contributors do not have Subversion check-in access. Integration of a developers' contributions is at the discretion of the Project Owner and individuals in the Project Developer role. This is typically an iterative, communicative process.
Besides the project developers, the following persons made significant contributions to deegree:
- Jens Stutte (Planetek)
- Christoph Pollmann (MOSS)
- Andy Turner (Centre for Computational Geography, University of Leeds)
